Drawn to Scale (DtS) is proud to boast a diverse, ever-expanding repertoire that is completely student-arranged. We perform songs of many different genres - from pop to rock, from R&B to dubstep, and even the occasional jazz hit. We have performed at many on and off campus events, such as Alottacapella at UC Davis and the Campaign for Berkeley banquet. At the end of each semester, we put together a fun, themed concert to perform our repertoire.
DtS was founded circa 2008 by a few musicians who met through Cal Community Music. They started out under the name of Vocal Offerings, until finally settling to their official name, Drawn to Scale, in 2010. In Fall 2011, DtS held their first concert at the end of the semester. In Fall 2012, they started performing weekly in front of Sather Gate on Friday at noon. In Spring 2020, they won the ICCA Quarterfinal Championships. In Spring 2024, they won best choreography and 4th place at the ICCA Quarterfinal Championships. Frequent performances and exposure have established DtS' presence in the Cal community.
Though DtS is one of the newest groups on campus, they are a group of very talented, down-to-earth singers who love to create amazing a cappella music. DtS strives to improve ourselves, compete internationally, and even record an album.
